French Immersion

"The ability to speak and understand French allows students to communicate with Frecnh speaking people in Canada and around the world, to understand and appreciate the history and evolution of their culture and to develop and benefit from a competitive advnatage in the workforce."  French as a Second Language, The Ontario Curriculum, 2013. 

French Immersion at St. Michael Catholic School is offered from Kindergarten to Grade Eight. Students are immersed in the French language for fifty percent of their day. Core subjects such as Language, Mathematics and Religion are taught in English.
